This Eclectic Modern Interior required a significant renovation/remediation after a water event occurrence in January 2015. WERK collaborated with client, insurance company, HOA, and numerous trades to help bring things back to their original condition with a few enhancements.
What began as a roof leak dilemma on the rear of a residence near Meridian Hills resulted in an Custom Awning Structure. WERK collaborated with architect and homeowner to rebuild the preexisting balcony and guardrails while introducing new upper and lower awning structures to shelter the home from future weather events. Aluminum prefabricated guardrail kit was utilized at walkway, and polycarbonate roof cladding was utilized to provide a rain screen while still allowing natural light into the south-facing windows. Exposed structure was stained white to work with the existing Colonial Revival exterior trims.
